Burano is an island in the Venetian lagoon known for the
bright colors of its houses. It takes around half an hour by waterbus
to get there but it's definitely worth it.

Here you can see the window of a blue house where
an old woman just put a red rose in the sunlight. This picture comes from
an ongoing project about the not-well-known Venetian islands.
