In Venice, during the Carnival, several booths selling typical
Italian foods
are displaced around the city. This one was selling specialities
from Sardinia (my favourites!) and when I was about to pay, I noticed the flag.
The man told me several tourists during the day asked him to purchase
the flag and he had to repeat that the flag was not for sale too many times.
Therefore, he decided to put a sign on it.
It literally reads: "Peace is not for sale" which is kinda funny if you
think about Peace as a concept and not as a simple flag...
